Our client is seeking an experienced System Engineer to support and strengthen its enterprise infrastructure and cloud environment. This role combines hands-on Windows/Linux systems engineering with AWS cloud infrastructure, automation, security and technical troubleshooting.
Responsibilities- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments.
- Design, deploy and support secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Manage core infrastructure services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
- Implement and support AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda and VPC.
- Monitor system availability, performance, security and capacity.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, operating system, networking and cloud issues.
- Manage virtualization environments including VMware, Hyper-V or Sangfor.
- Automate infrastructure deployment and administration using Terraform, Cloud Formation and scripting.
- Support configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
- Implement system security controls, patches, backups and operational best practices.
- Collaborate with development, operations and other IT teams on infrastructure and cloud solutions.
- Maintain clear technical documentation, system configurations and operating procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Strong professional experience supporting Windows and/or Linux infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Good knowledge of Linux distributions such as Red Hat, Oracle Linux or Ubuntu.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V or Sangfor.
- Experience with Terraform and/or Cloud Formation.
- Scripting experience using Power Shell, Bash and/or Python.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical capability.
