We are looking for an experienced skilled Workers’ Compensation paralegal to assist in our Workers’ Compensation department. The ideal candidate will be able to provide assistance during all phases of the workers’ comp process and be very familiar with laws of SC Workers’ Comp. Superior client/customer service skills is a must for this position.

• Handling all aspects of workers’ compensation cases from the initial client intake meeting through resolution and disbursement
• Draft pleadings and motions
• Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, etc.)
• Keep track of and adhere to filing deadlines
• Interact with clients and opposing counsel as necessary
• Assist attorneys in preparation for hearings
• Gather relevant information from a variety of sources
• Request medical records and bills

• Proven working experience as a workers compensation paralegal
• Work in a team environment
• Highly organized
• Effective at multi-tasking and prioritizing assignments.
• Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year dependent on experience.
