Primary Function
Installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs electronic equipment and systems in a manufacturing environment by interpreting blueprints, calibrating equipment, and replacing components. Key skills include knowledge of electronics, proficiency with diagnostic tools, and strong problem‑solving and communication abilities. This is a first shift position - Mon‑Fri, 7 AM – 3 PM. Benefits after 60 days include medical, dental, vision, and paid vacation. 401k plan on Jan 1 or July 1 after 6 months of employment with company match up to 3%.

- Troubleshoot operating errors in manufacturing equipment, systems, microprocessors, PLC’s, electronic test equipment. Support equipment for support groups and facilities.
- Intermediate knowledge of micro steppers and drivers, linear actuators, and linear motors.
- Knowledge of 208 V three phase voltage and DC control circuits.
- Repair equipment – both electronically and mechanically.
- Integrate software or hardware components using computers and microprocessors.
- Perform PM’s both electronically and mechanically and maintain equipment logs.
- Maintain spare parts inventory.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned within the scope of the Facilities Department. This may include electrical, mechanical, fabrication, and facility work, in addition to electronics work.
- Knowledge of electronics including but not limited to circuit boards, processors, chips and PLC’s (Programmable Logic Controllers).
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
- Ability to troubleshoot – determine causes of operating errors and decide what to do to correct the errors.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and communication abilities.
- Ability to work in all areas of manufacturing, including clean rooms, maintenance, outdoors and under yellow light.
- Ability to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) as required, such as safety shoes, safety glasses or hearing protection.
- Ability to follow instructions and perform work duties with little or no supervision.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, work in tight spaces, walk, stoop, climb, sit, and reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to lift or exert force up to 50 pounds.
- An associate’s degree in Electronics or formal electronics training in the U.S. military.
- A minimum of eight (8) years’ experience with repair and maintenance of electronic equipment in a manufacturing environment.
