The Trauma Nurse Lead Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high quality, patient‑centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the role monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies and serves as a resource for staff to support an unparalleled patient experience.
Responsibilities- Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient‑centered care.
- Assist with admission and discharge processes.
- Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
- Assist with staff scheduling.
- Registered Nurse Diploma.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- (APRN) Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, or (RN) Registered Nurse.
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course, or TNCC Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
