Compensation
- Base Pay: $20-$26/hour
- Urgent Care Differential: +$4.00/hour
- Schedule:
4-day workweek with rotating Saturdays (Urgent Care shifts included)

Requirements- Active South Carolina LVT license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong clinical skills: patient restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, dental prophy
- Proficient in Avimark or similar veterinary software
- Excellent communication, organization, and client education skills
- Mon-Fri: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Saturday:
- 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (General Practice)
- 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM (Urgent Care)
- Sunday:
Closed - Full-Time | Rotating Saturdays Required

- Deliver patient care under the supervision of a veterinarian (DVM).
- Maintain clear and accurate medical, client, and case records using appropriate terminology and grammar.
- Review medical records, treatment estimates, and discharge instructions with clients, and respond to basic animal care inquiries, escalating medical questions to veterinarians as needed.
- Guide and support medical support staff to ensure efficient shift operations and workflow.
- Mentor team members to encourage career growth and personal development.
- Provide input for 360-degree performance evaluations of employees.
- Assist with client services including appointment scheduling, payments, check-in, and courteous phone communication.
- Provide feedback and suggest improvements to training programs; participate in training sessions, job shadows, and working interviews.
- Perform assigned cleaning, clinic upkeep, and equipment maintenance tasks.
- Delegate cleaning or other duties during slow periods when a supervisor is unavailable.
- Identify and address areas needing additional attention within the clinic environment.
- Answer client inquiries confidently about routine procedures and animal care.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to support patient care and hospital operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned within the nature and level of work.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
