Our client is a veterinary hospital based in Myrtle Beach, seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team. This established and community-focused practice provides high-quality veterinary care for dogs and cats in a modern, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic veterinarian who values teamwork, communication, and the opportunity to shape a positive and progressive hospital culture.
The hospital is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This position offers flexibility for full-time or part-time scheduling, depending on the candidate's preference. There are no after-hours or overnight responsibilities, allowing for an excellent work-life balance.
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver comprehensive medical, surgical, and diagnostic care to patients while maintaining a focus on client communication and education. Clinical duties include performing wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry, as well as managing cases in areas such as pain management, allergies, internal medicine, and urgent care. The hospital provides a supportive structure for veterinarians to pursue their clinical interests, collaborate on cases, and continue developing professionally through mentorship and continuing education.
This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates who are eager to work in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
The hospital is modern and fully equipped to support a wide range of medical and surgical services, including ultrasound, digital radiography, laser therapy, diagnostics, spay and neuter procedures, senior pet care, behavioral consultations, and urgent care. The facility emphasizes a collaborative, low-stress culture where doctors can focus on practicing excellent medicine with the support of high technician-to-doctor ratios and an efficient operational team.
The hospital is currently staffed by two experienced veterinarians and a dedicated team of support staff, including skilled technicians and client care specialists. The work environment is collaborative, inclusive, and growth-oriented, providing veterinarians with a strong foundation to practice confidently while contributing to a supportive and inspiring team culture.
Candidate Requirements- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
