Experienced technicians will install, service, and repair heating, ventilating, air‑conditioning systems, including heating and refrigeration theory, pipe fitting, and control systems.

LocationThis role is based out of the Myrtle Beach area and serves the coastal South Carolina region.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities Class III Service Technician- Understanding of 5‑100 ton unitary DX equipment, chilled water air handlers, CRACs, pneumatic and DDC controls.
- Advanced troubleshooting of unitary DX equipment (≤ 100 t).
- Repairs on rooftop package equipment and basic troubleshooting of air‑cooled chillers.
- Repair water‑cooled package equipment.
- Diagnose problems using electrical schematics.
- Diagnose refrigerant system issues.
- Basic understanding of variable‑frequency drives.
- Diagnose issues with VAV/PIU equipment.
- All skills from Class III plus troubleshooting and repairs on air‑cooled chillers, pumps, and low‑pressure boilers.
- Advanced troubleshooting of all air‑cooled equipment (unitary and chilled water).
- Basic handling of water‑cooled chillers and DDC control systems.
- Maintain and repair cooling towers.
- Diagnose water flow issues.
- Proficient with variable‑frequency drives and starters.
- Proficient with low‑pressure boilers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of computers and tablets.
- Ability to handle concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Team player with strong adaptability.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Trade/Technical School certification or degree preferred.
- 4–5+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC experience, including control, compound and reciprocating systems, refrigerants.
- Valid driver’s license.
- EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification.
Must climb ladders, lift 50 + lbs, distinguish colors for electrical work, and tolerate confined spaces. Work involves heights and seasonal temperature extremes; personal protective equipment is required.
