The Collins, a premier apartment community in Myrtle Beach, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our on‑site team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on professional looking for long‑term stability, competitive pay, strong benefits, and a supportive work environment.

- Minimum 2 years of apartment or multifamily maintenance experience (required)
- EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) – required
- CPO Certification – required
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
- Ability to respond to on‑call and after‑hours maintenance emergencies
- Own basic maintenance tools and have reliable transportation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to walk the property, climb stairs and ladders, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing regulations
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on buildings, grounds, and amenities
- Complete service requests efficiently and professionally
- Prepare vacant apartments for new move‑ins (turns/make‑readies)
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls, including after‑hours
- Maintain inventory and proper care of tools, equipment, and supplies
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
