One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is launching a new, locally owned operation in Utah County, and we're looking for an exceptional HVAC Service Technician who wants to grow with us.

This isn't just another technician position.

We're looking for someone who can become a foundational member of our team, help establish our company culture, and develop into a leadership role as we grow—with the potential to become our future Operations Manager.

You'll start by doing what you do best: providing outstanding HVAC service to customers. As our business grows, you'll have opportunities to take on additional responsibilities, mentor new technicians, help improve our operations, and eventually lead the team.

Deliver Exceptional HVAC Service

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Provide honest, accurate recommendations that help customers make informed decisions.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners, explain technical issues in understandable terms, and build lasting customer relationships.
• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, punctuality, workmanship, and customer care.
• Take pride in your work, your appearance, your equipment, and your company vehicle.
• Follow established safety procedures and industry best practices.

As our business grows, you'll have opportunities to:

• Help recruit, train, and mentor new HVAC technicians.
• Share technical knowledge and help others improve their skills.
• Set an example for professionalism, accountability, and exceptional customer service.
• Help establish processes and best practices that make our team more effective.
• Support technicians with difficult diagnoses and escalated customer concerns.
• Work directly with ownership to identify opportunities to improve the business.

For the right person, this position offers a path toward an Operations Manager role, with increasing responsibility for:

• Leading, coaching, and developing our service team.
• Coordinating daily service operations, scheduling, and dispatch.
• Monitoring key business metrics, including customer satisfaction, technician productivity, revenue, and profitability.
• Helping technicians improve both technical performance and customer experience.
• Building a positive, high-performing team culture.
• Improving operational efficiency and developing processes that support business growth.
• Helping make decisions that shape the future of our company.

This is a hands-on technician role initially, with leadership responsibilities expanding as the business grows.

• Several years of successful experience servicing residential HVAC systems.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
• A commitment to high-quality workmanship and doing the job right.
• Applicable HVAC certifications and credentials.
• NATE certification preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license and driving record acceptable under company insurance requirements.
• Ability to meet applicable background screening and employment requirements.
