Senior Technician.Histopathology

Key Responsibilities  Technical Expertise & Troubleshooting   Perform  advanced troubleshooting and repair  of complex diagnostic and laboratory equipment.
Ensure all systems and machines operate efficiently, safely, and within required performance standards.
Team Leadership & Supervision   Lead and supervise a team of technicians, offering guidance, training, mentoring, and performance support.
Allocate and prioritize daily work assignments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Maintenance & Equipment Management   Conduct  routine inspections and preventive maintenance  to identify potential issues and avoid downtime.
Develop, review, and implement maintenance procedures, SOPs, and protocols to enhance equipment reliability.
Maintain accurate logs of repairs, calibration, maintenance activities, and equipment inventory.
Project & Operational Support   Collaborate with engineers, biomedical teams, and project managers on equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning.
Support continuous improvement projects focusing on safety, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Compliance & Quality Assurance   Ensure adherence to hospital safety guidelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain a high level of operational discipline within diagnostic/lab environments.
Continuous Learning   Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in diagnostics, laboratory operations, and biomedical systems.
