What You'll DoAs a Registered Nurse at Pendleton, you'll play an essential role in delivering high-quality, individualized care while supporting residents, families, and your fellow healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities Include:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for residents.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established nursing standards.
Monitor residents' conditions, identify changes, and communicate concerns promptly.
Coordinate care with physicians, nursing leadership, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Provide leadership, direction, and support to LPNs and CNAs as appropriate to assigned responsibilities.
Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation.
Follow infection control practices, facility policies, and applicable nursing regulations.
Promote resident dignity, safety, comfort, and quality of life.
Current, valid Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
A compassionate, resident-focused approach to nursing care.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative nursing team.
Previous skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care experience preferred, but not required.
