Job SummaryThe Line Cook prepares, cooks, and plates menu items along with performing general cleaning.
- Prepares ingredients for entrees, sets up workstation, and cooks menu items according to the guest specification- while also meeting health/safety guidelines.
- Prepares and serves various foods in assigned work situations including pantry, sauces, poultry, fish, and meat items.
- Able to comfortably cook on various stations including fry, sauté, grill, and oven.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and follow measurements/complete conversions.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- One Year of A-La-Carte Line Cook experience required.
- Six months of Line Cook experience in a fine-dining setting preferred.
- Ability to interpret standardized recipes, instructions, specifications and standards.
