Primary
Purpose:
To provide strategies for teaching and supporting students in core subject-area skills needed to ensure students are achieving at a proficient level.
Qualifications:
Master's degree (preferred)
Valid Texas elementary teaching certificate
Knowledge of Pre-k – 5th grade TEKS
Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to work in small groups with elementary students
Ability to work with teachers
Knowledge of appropriate use of assessment and intervention strategies for students
Strong organizational, communication, human relations and interpersonal skills
Bilingual language (preferred)
Experience:
Three-five years teaching

Working Conditions:
Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written); maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pulling and pushing. Move small stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desks, and other classroom equipment.
