Description:
The Labor & Delivery RN is responsible for the care of patients during labor and delivery.
The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for obstetric patients.
This position requires strong communication and collaboration skills with the healthcare team.
The RN will manage patient medications, monitor fetal heart tones, and assist in deliveries.
This role also involves education for patients and families regarding the labor process.
The RN must maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
Participation in continuous professional development is expected.
Successful completion of required health screenings and competency validation is necessary.
