Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position, requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience.

• Position is based on a hospital Med/Surg unit
• Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Standard 36-hour work week for a 10 to 13 week contract
• Med/Surg patient population
• Local and travel candidates considered at same rate
• Candidates who are current employees of Tenet Health or have been employed by Tenet Health in the past 12 months are not eligible
• Team structure supports collaboration within the Med/Surg unit
• RTO (requested time off) must be discussed at time of offer

• Active TX or compact state RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certifications required
• Social Security number (full preferred, last 4 digits acceptable) required for consideration
• Valid driver’s license required
• Date of birth required
