Animal Services Assistant
Are you passionate about animals and looking for a role with both administrative and hands‑on responsibilities? The City of Nacogdoches Animal Services Department is seeking a dedicated Animal Services Assistant
.
- Be the face of Animal Services, providing excellent customer service.
- Manage front‑desk clerical duties, including answering phones, emails and record‑keeping.
- Process animal intakes, check‑ins, check‑outs and coordinate transfers to rescue organizations.
- Get hands‑on with shelter cleaning, preparation duties and assisting Animal Control Officers with handling, vaccinating, medicating, microchipping and assisting with euthanasia for all types of household pets.
