Position: Teacher Librarian - Stellar World School (Andheri/Goregaon)
Stellar World School is looking for a passionate and dynamic Teacher Librarian who can foster a love for reading, research, and lifelong learning among students. The ideal candidate will manage the school library effectively while collaborating with teachers to support curriculum and literacy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and organize the school library resources, including books, digital content, and learning materials.
Promote reading habits and library engagement through storytelling sessions, reading programs, and library activities.
Assist students and staff in locating and utilizing library resources effectively.
Support curriculum delivery by collaborating with teachers on research projects and literacy development.
Maintain library records, cataloguing, circulation, and inventory systems.
Curate age-appropriate resources and ensure the library environment is welcoming and student-friendly.
Conduct orientation sessions for students on library usage, digital literacy, and research skills.
Stay updated with current educational and library management practices.

Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Library Science (B.Lib / M.Lib) or equivalent qualification.
Prior experience in a school library setting preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for reading, storytelling, and student engagement.
Familiarity with library management software and digital resources.
Ability to work collaboratively with educators and school leadership.
