Overview

As a Care Worker with Cross Reach, you’ll be part of a dedicated team supporting older people to feel safe, valued and truly r role is about more than care tasks. It’s about offering comfort, companionship and dignity, and making each day better for the people you support.

• Supporting people with daily routines and personal care in a respectful way
• Encouraging choice, independence and meaningful activity
• Helping to shape and review individual care plans
• Maintaining a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment
• Working alongside families and professionals to deliver high-quality care

• You’re caring, dependable and patient, with a gentle and thoughtful approach to your work. You understand the importance of person-centred care and building trust.
• Ideally, you’ll hold or be working towards an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care.
• You’ll be registered with the SSSC, be a member of the PVG Scheme, and have basic computer skills for training and documentation.
• You’ll also be comfortable working within and supporting Cross Reach’s Christian ethos.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
