Overview
A general contractor in the Boise area is seeking a qualified carpenter to join their team. The contractor specializes in restoration services, renovations, and remodels.
Responsibilities- Ensuring the successful completion of specific construction projects, adhering to plans, specifications, budgets, schedules, codes, and safety guidelines
- Communication with owners and subcontractors as necessary
- Adaptability to changes and delays, including the ability to determine material costs and labor hours for these as or if needed
- Monitoring and delivering job progress, quality, cleanliness, and site security
- Managing and fulfilling job duties assigned to ensure project adherence to schedules
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation and tools
- Schedule management and planning skills
- Scope of work reading and execution abilities
- Budgeting and scheduling experience
- Team player and self-starter mentality
- Ability to take on-site photographs and share them via email
- Proficiency in computer and smartphone skills
- Punctuality
- Normal working hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, but may vary depending on requirements
Compensation includes: a competitive salary and benefits package.
Qualifications- High school or equivalent education
- Excellent communication skills
- Bilingualism (Spanish) is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
