The RoleAs a Drafting Solutioneer, you’ll create highly detailed, coordinated production and automation data that directly drives robotic manufacturing. This is not traditional drafting, you’ll be working at the intersection of design, automation, and manufacturing. You’ll collaborate with a skilled, cross-functional team, gain exposure across multiple disciplines, and play a critical role in turning approved designs into machine‑ready production data. The right candidate is curious, organized, detail‑obsessed (in a good way), and committed to team success.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Review state‑approved submittal plans during construction administration
- Create detailed production files from approved shop drawings
- Generate XML configuration files for robotic manufacturing
- Build and maintain templates within the ONYX platform
- Generate, modify, and validate CSV and BVX files
- Support CNC operators by exporting BVX, HDB, and other machine‑ready files
- Assist with internal file and document management
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards
- Actively support continuous improvement initiatives
- Live and promote Autovol’s mission and values
- Communicate clearly with peers, supervisors, and stakeholders
- Perform general administrative duties as needed
- Strong ability to read and understand residential construction documents
- High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
- Fast learner with a proactive, team‑first mindset
- Strong communication skills—clear, honest, and professional
- Comfortable working in a high‑performance, accountability‑driven environment
- Programming experience is a plus, not a requirement
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or the willingness to learn quickly)
- AAS Degree in Drafting Technology or equivalent experience
- Revit proficiency required (2–5 years)
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Paid Time Off (PTO):
Starting at 10 days annually, increasing with tenure - Three‑Day Workweek:
