Cardiology - Interventional Physician

Start Date: November/December 2025
Setting: Inpatient Only Trauma Level II
Schedule: Hospital call coverage only, 7a 7a
Availability: Must be able to work two 5 6 day blocks per month

• Inpatient only dedicated to acute and emergent cardiovascular care

• Volume: 3 consults/day, 2 procedures/day

• Support:

  • ICU: 18 beds

  • Telemetry: 18 beds

  • CMU: 10 beds

  • APP Coverage: M F, 1 2 APPs during the day; weekends, 1 APP for 5 hrs/day

• Procedures: Interventional cardiology required.

  • Preferred: TEEs, balloon pumps, coronary stents, IVUs, IFR

  • STEMI volumes vary 2020 average was 3 STEMI activations/week

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology Required

• Active or Active IMLC (LOQ at time of name clear) Required

• Clean malpractice & background Highly Preferred

• COVID vaccination Required (verbal confirmation at name clear)

• CME (past 2 years)
