The annual compensation range for this position is stated below. The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level.

Functional Test Design and Support Engineer within Plexus Engineering Solutions, your role will focus on performing engineering services for test solutions and products across a wide range of industries. This role is responsible for creating robust and efficient test solutions, continuously improving test performance, troubleshooting complex issues, supporting equipment installation and changes, and providing technical guidance.
You will work on a collaborative, cross‑functional team within Plexus Manufacturing, Product Development, and Product Commercialization. This role is in a fast paced environment with changing tasks and priorities while working with unique devices and technologies.
Key Job Accountabilities- Partner with both the functional test design engineers and the manufacturing teams to successfully meet customer requirements.
- Develop complex test cases to verify system functionality. Identify and troubleshoot issues in the test systems when they arise in the manufacturing environment.
- Produce comprehensive project documentation in accordance with the quality and change management procedures and guidelines.
- Utilize appropriate tools and equipment to perform necessary design work including design creation, design analysis, and design verification.
- Develop engineering/product concepts that are high‑quality, cost‑appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements where applicable, while establishing an area of technical specialty and mentoring others on the team (in‑discipline).
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required; a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is preferred.
- Three (3) years of related experience is required.
- LabVIEW experience is preferred.
- C++ experience is preferred.
- Lab tool/ test/measurement equipment experience preferred.
- Ability to develop good working relationships with team members and customers.
- Ability to problem solve independently.
