Full-time - Shift: Day Shift
- Location:
4424 E Flamingo Ave ste 210, Nampa, - Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (or similar) - Seniority level:
Entry level
- Check in patients for appointments, collect patient co-pays, answer telephones, take accurate messages, schedule appointments, and check insurance eligibility.
- Use the electronic medical record (EPIC) to update required information.
- Acknowledge and greet patients, register for appointments, verify/update patient and insurance information.
- Keep appointments on schedule by notifying the provider of the patient’s arrival; inform patients of delays and anticipated wait times.
- Collect, record, and communicate patient balances; understand different payer practices and deductibles.
- Assist patients with Financial Assistance Paperwork; manage credit via payment plans.
- Maintain a neat work area and office supplies; follow Cash Control Policy and balance daily financial activities; ensure collection of payments at time of service.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous customer service experience required. Healthcare experience preferred. Electronic health record (EHR) experience a plus. Medical terminology preferred.
- Experience with process improvement or lean philosophy preferred.

- Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality and following HIPAA regulations.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reports needed changes.
