Operator I, Sanitation – Nampa,  – Full-time

We are looking for an Operator I, Sanitation to support our production lines by providing thorough cleaning and sanitation. This role involves disassembling and reassembling equipment, performing daily swabs, and ensuring compliance with safety and GMP procedures.

• Disassemble all packaging equipment to clean and disinfect.
• Follow all safety and GMP procedures and policies.
• Take necessary measures if people are performing unsafe acts or are in an unsafe environment.
• Perform daily swabs of equipment.
• Reassemble all equipment and prepare it for production, ensuring production will resume on clean equipment in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area by adhering to housekeeping and GMP procedures.
• Interact with associates to maintain efficient process flow.
• Maintain open lines of communication with all line workers, supervisors, and managers.
• Perform sanitation duties as assigned by the sanitation lead and supervisor.
• Report problems and/or concerns to supervisors and/or management.
• Attend departmental meetings and training as assigned by the supervisor and/or manager.
• Perform other work duties as assigned.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (preferred but not required).
• Experience: No experience required; experience in general cleaning, chemical handling, and customer service preferred.
• Specialized Knowledge: None required.
• Skills / Abilities:
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • English language and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and production cleaning.
  • Willingness to adhere to attendance requirements, including regular and punctual attendance.
  • Ability to communicate, interact, and work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Recognize the importance of safety, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, and report unsafe work.
