Maintenance Technician III - String Department

Job Description

Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is hiring a Maintenance Technician Level III to maintain and improve packaging machinery in промеген Shred and Stick department.

• Mechanical: greasing and changing parts; making movement adjustments; aligning linear bearings and motors; drilling, grinding, cutting; basic lathe and milling; welding and modifying parts.
• Electrical: reading schematics; using voltmeters; troubleshooting relay and PLC logic panels.
• Pneumatic: adjusting flows; changing and repairing components.
• Plumbing: replacing PVC, copper, galvanized and/or steel piping, including modifications.
• Software: basic knowledge of pontoine Office, Outlook and Maximo computer software.

• Associate’s degree from a two‑year college or technical school (preferred).
• Minimum 2+ years of related maintenance experience.
• Ability to perform Level III duties as described.
• Work safely in a sanitary, GMP‑compliant environment.
• Work 12‑hour shifts and weekends.
• Interpret various technical instructions and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Basic to advanced welding skills (Level III vs. Level IV).
• Knowledge of packaging, processing, and utility equipment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Team‑player attitude and ability to work well with others.
