Pro Moto Billet designs and manufactures premium motorcycle and powersports accessories in Nampa, Idaho. We’re looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined CNC Operator Assistant / Bandsaw Operator to help keep our manufacturing team supplied, organized, and productive.

In this role, you’ll operate our CNC bandsaw, prepare materials, assist machinists, and help finish and protect machined parts. You’ll also learn to support robot-fed CNC machining cells and maintain accurate production and inventory records.

This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, pays attention to detail, and wants to develop manufacturing skills. Training is provided for assigned equipment and processes.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate the CNC bandsaw after training and authorization.
• Verify material type, dimensions, quantities, and cutting instructions before starting work.
• Identify, organize, and stage raw materials and cut pieces for production.
• Assist machinists with material preparation, part movement, and daily shop tasks.
• Load and unload robot-fed CNC machining cells after training and authorization.
• Deburr, polish, grain, buff, and clean machined parts according to work instructions.
• Inspect parts visually and use assigned measuring tools after training.
• Handle finished parts carefully to prevent scratches, damage, or loss of identification.
• Enter assigned production activity, quantities, scrap, and inventory movements accurately in Odoo.
• Complete assigned cleanup and basic equipment-care tasks.
• Follow safety procedures and promptly report quality concerns, shortages, equipment issues, or delays.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, and consistent attendance.
• Basic math skills to follow dimensions, quantities, and material requirements.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn Odoo.
• Ability to follow work instructions and use tools safely after training.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently within assigned standards and support the manufacturing team.
• Willingness to cross-train and adapt to changing production priorities.

Physical Requirements

Essential duties include:

• Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling materials weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Standing for extended periods.
• Frequently walking, bending, reaching, gripping, and moving materials or parts.
• Working safely around saws, moving machinery, robot-fed cells, hand tools, metal stock, chips, and coolant.

Employment Requirements

• Successful completion of the company’s required pre-employment drug screening.
• Successful completion of the company’s required background check.
• Ability to meet ongoing safety, training, attendance, and equipment-authorization requirements.
