Currently Independent practice CRNAs perform their own Pre-Op, Regional Blocks (encourage, but not required), etc. They are not directly supervised by MDAs, so must be comfortable with no supervision/being independent. A physician is typically available to assist for difficulties, but CRNAs should plan to be independent providers.

Case Mix:
It would be OB 25-50% and OR 50-75%. MUST be comfy with OB. There are an avg of 1,500 births annually  types of cases they do
- Ortho, Gyn, ENT (only healthy peds), 1-2 level back fusions, laminectomies, Davinci Gyn and urology, Endo, cardioversions and peds dental.

Credentialing Timeframe: about 30 days if licensed. up to 60-75 days if non-licensed (pending license)
