Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a position in the Progressive Care Unit. This role requires a minimum of two years of experience in progressive care or intensive care. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Key responsibilities include monitoring EKGs, performing patient assessments, and managing wound care. Effective communication with patients and the healthcare team is essential for this role.
Additionally, IV management skills are required to ensure patient safety and efficacy of treatment. The patient population consists primarily of adults with various diagnoses including CHF, detox, stroke, NStemi, Stemi, neuro disorders, COPD, diabetes, and sepsis. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional care. Candidates must be willing to float to other units as needed based on patient load or safety requirements.
Scrub color is flexible, but certain attire such as hoodies and open-toed shoes are not permitted.
