Viking Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned group of emergency and urgent care hospitals with locations in Nampa, Idaho Falls, and Moscow,  our founding in 2022, we’ve been dedicated to providing exceptional care during critical times in pets’ lives, staying open after hours, on nights, and weekends to support both pets and their owners. Viking Veterinary Hospital is looking for a few dedicated and caring people to join our team.

Preventive care, diagnostic testing, and surgical procedures are among the veterinary services we offer. Viking Veterinary Hospital is a state of the art, built in 2022, full-service veterinary practice located in Nampa, Idaho, just 20 miles west of Boise. We are committed to providing the highest quality care and medicine to pets in the Treasure Valley, combining compassionate service with advanced veterinary technology. We are a full time, 24/7 Emergency and Critical Care facility, that also houses an exceptional General Practice M-F.

What We Offer:

• Routine wellness exams and preventive care
• Full in-house diagnostic laboratory with blood gas and coagulation analyzers
• Digital radiology and ultrasound for detailed imaging
• An in-house blood bank for emergency transfusions
• State-of-the-art surgical suite with orthopedic tools

What We’re Looking For:

Viking Veterinary Hospital is seeking a very special, compassionate & driven veterinarian to join our always growing team. We are looking for a general practitioner but always have opportunities for learning and growth in our emergency department as well. Whether you're an experienced professional or a motivated new graduate, we offer a collaborative and supportive environment where you will thrive.

Key

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
• Active licensure to practice in Idaho, or ability to obtain licensure.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and staff.
• Proficiency in veterinary diagnostic procedures, including interpreting lab results, imaging, and physical exams.
• Ability to perform routine surgeries
• A passion for providing high-quality patient care with a focus on positive client experiences
• A desire to work in a team-oriented, positive environment , where mutual respect and collaboration are key.

• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with a diverse case load.
• Leadership capabilities to guide and mentor support staff.
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
• A compassionate, empathetic approach to client care and patient comfort.
• Experience or interest in emergency and critical care is a plus, but not required.
