Host-PM

Overview

Host-PM position at Wingers (F - 5036 - Nampa Wingers). Part-time. Compensation: $9.00 - 14.00 per hour. Must have Thursday-Saturday PM availability. Wingers offers flexible scheduling and other benefits. We E-Verify all employees.

• Greet guests warmly and graciously upon arrival; inform guests of their server’s name and current promotions.
• Open doors for guests when possible and manage seating to best serve guests’ wishes.
• Record guest names and party size when immediate seating is limited; provide estimated waiting times.
• Call out guest names and party sizes when tables become available; accommodate special seating requests when possible.
• Seat guests according to preferences and balance customer flow; offer menus and inform guests of specials or promotions; inspect tables for proper presentation and completeness.
• Relay messages to servers or managers as needed.
• Bus and assist servers with clearing tables; help deliver drinks if time permits.
• Ensure bathrooms are clean; assist with general upkeep as needed.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Attend scheduled employee meetings and contribute suggestions for improvement.
• Perform other tasks as required by management or leadership.

• No previous restaurant experience required.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to work well with others and in standing positions for long periods.
• Exceptional grooming habits.
• Able to work Thursday–Saturday evenings; flexible with additional shifts as needed.

• Ability to speak and hear; close and distance vision; identify and distinguish colors.
• Frequent walking with some standing; may walk long distances; frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Continual use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills; able to reach, kneel and stoop repeatedly.

• Indoor or outdoor settings depending on location; varied weather conditions.
• Work near moving or mechanical parts; may work near chemicals and fumes; schedule may include evenings, holidays and extended hours.
