Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items according to recipes.

Ensure the quality of products served.

Follow standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen policies.

Maintain sufficient food stock levels.

Prepare and portion food prior to cooking.

Keep work stations clean and sanitary.

Perform food temperature checks and proper food handling.

Follow proper plate presentation and garnish setup.

Handle, store, and rotate products properly.

Assist in food prep during off-peak times.

Close the kitchen following procedures.

Attend meetings and suggest improvements.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical and Working Conditions

Ability to speak and hear, with good vision and color recognition.
Lift, reach, bend, and work in standing position for long periods.
Work may be indoors or outdoors with varied weather conditions.
May involve working near moving parts or chemicals.
Schedule may include evenings, holidays, and extended hours.
