Job Description

Wage – $19.25 per hour

Schedule – Full Time, split shift position, 3 day shifts (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) and 2 swing shifts (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)

You’ll be responsible for performing guard and patrol duties in assigned areas to protect life and property against theft, misappropriation, fire, flood or similar disaster in compliance with government and management directives.

• Ensure the physical security of buildings, center vehicles, and property by checking doors, windows, lights, electrical appliances, equipment, locks, and emergency equipment.
• Maintain logs, incident reports, and conduct investigations.
• Perform parking and traffic control.
• Assist in transporting students, and report and suppress fires.
• Assist senior security officer and manager in coordinating and instituting programs that foster student retention.
• Ensure accountability of students, staff, and visitor check‑out and check‑in procedures by scheduling coverage.

• High school diploma or equivalent and one year security experience or completion of a security training program (preferred).
• Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency required.
• A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
