Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach –

Nampa, Idaho – Private Christian university competing in NCAA Division II; part of Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC).
OverviewThe Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach assists with all aspects of operating an NCAA Division II intercollegiate Women’s Soccer program, reporting to the Head Women’s Soccer Coach. This 12‑month, full‑time exempt position requires strong coaching, recruiting, and compliance skills.
Essential Functions- Promote spiritual formation, academic excellence, athletic competitiveness, and community engagement in student-athletes.
- Assist in organizing and facilitating training sessions, game preparation (including video and statistical analysis), and game-day execution.
- Handle all aspects of team travel.
- Develop and operate a recruiting system to achieve roster goals.
- Manage youth camp operations.
- Collaborate within the Athletic Department and the broader university.
- Plan, manage, and oversee program budget allocations.
- Ensure student-athlete eligibility and academic progress compliance with institutional and NCAA regulations.
- Maintain knowledge of applicable regulations and promote a compliance culture.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Women’s soccer coaching experience.
- High motivation, organizational skills, self‑start, calm under pressure, deadline‑oriented, ability to work independently, problem‑solving, relational skills across diverse personalities.
- Christian faith aligned with NNU’s mission; comfortable with the university’s lifestyle values.
- Master’s degree.
- Collegiate‑level women’s soccer coaching experience.
- Experience recruiting student‑athletes.
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and processes.
