This opening gives newer CDL-A drivers a structured route from paid training into a solo Western regional position with refrigerated freight.

WHAT COMES AFTER TRAINING

• $1,200-$1,300 average weekly earnings
• Approximately 1,900-2,100 miles each week
• Starting mileage pay of $0.51 per mile
• $15 stop pay
• Monthly driver performance bonus opportunity

TRAINING STAGE

Paid behind-the-wheel training runs approximately 3-5 weeks for 200-250 hours. Idaho trainee pay is $650 per week. Orientation takes no more than two days; $300 is paid upon hire.

• Regional reefer freight
• Home every two weeks
• Day/night driving required

TRUCK & TRAILER

• Reefer trailers
• Mainly Freightliner tractors
• Automatic and 10-speed manual transmissions
• Average tractor age approximately 1.5 years
• Permanently assigned truck - no slip seating

Once training is complete, the rider program is available for approved passengers and one approved dog under 40 lbs. is permitted.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 120 hours from an accredited truck driving school
• CDL-A trainees with less than 6 months of recent driving experience are welcome
• Solid employment history without major unemployment gaps
• Acceptable MVR and driving record required
• Must pass a DOT-compliant pre-employment drug test
• Must meet all applicable driver qualification and hiring requirements
• Must be available for day/night driving and weekend work when required
