Drive operational excellence as a full-time Receiving Clerk at Buckerfield's in Nanaimo, BC. Manage invoices and ensure accurate costs while maintaining reliable inventory oversight.
As a key member of our knowledgeable team, you will be responsible for entering invoices, verifying costs, and ensuring our retail prices align with market conditions. Effective communication with our vendors and serving as a link to the Head Office Accounting Team is essential. This role requires a keen eye for detail and strong organizational capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Address vendor issues regarding product returns and credits
• Verify and update retail pricing accurately
• Prepare bank reconciliations at month-end
• Implement accurate filing and maintain records
• Conduct inventory checks and resolve any discrepancies
Requirements:
• Strongly organized with a detail-oriented mindset
• Proficient in MS Office; accounting system knowledge is advantageous
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Willingness to adapt to new programs and systems
Ensure accuracy and efficiency in inventory control processes as part of Buckerfield's dedicated team.
