Position: Accounting Specialist for Indigenous Clientele
Join MNP as an Accounting Specialist dedicated to the unique needs of Indigenous clients. Lead financial operations and engage closely with clients to deliver outstanding service.

In this pivotal role at MNP, you will manage full cycle accounting processes while focusing on Indigenous Nations and organizations. Your responsibilities will include monitoring financial compliance, preparing budgets, and supporting both month-end and year-end processes, ensuring the highest quality of client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all full cycle accounting transactions

• Ensure regulatory compliance in financial reporting

• Prepare accurate budgets and financial forecasts

• Support closing processes at month-end and year-end

• Coach junior team members while building client relations

Requirements:

• CPA designation required; CAFM an asset

• Proven experience in full-cycle accounting

• Knowledge of Sage Intacct or similar software

• Preferred experience with Indigenous organizations

• Strong understanding of accounting principles
