In this Senior Accountant role, you will become a part of a dedicated team focused on assisting Indigenous communities navigate their financial landscapes. Your responsibilities will include reviewing accounting practices and providing tailored training sessions. You will also collaborate on strategic growth plans, ensuring clients are equipped with essential financial knowledge and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and improve client accounting systems

• Develop client-focused strategic financial growth plans

• Support in financing, systems implementation, and chart setup

• Train clients in accounting processes and audit preparation

• Communicate project updates to management

Requirements:

• Degree/diploma in Business or Accounting

• CPA designation is preferred

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

• Strong understanding of organizational finance

• Experience with Indigenous communities considered an asset
