Patient Services Specialist

Our FYidoctors Ladysmith clinic is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as a Patient Services Specialist to fill an existing vacancy!

In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional service and support, enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic and rewarding environment that values teamwork and collaboration.

This position is a full‑time role working 30‑40 hours per week. The clinic is open Monday to Friday.

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, manage patient check‑in and check‑out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email
• Perform pre‑testing to support comprehensive eye care
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments
• Manage eyewear pick‑ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear
• Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring a positive patient experience
• Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required

• Previous retail experience is considered an asset
• Ability to multi‑task and thrive in a fast‑paced environment
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with patients and delivering exceptional patient experiences

The expected starting compensation for this position is between $19.62 and $19.96 per hour, depending on experience, skills and qualifications. Base pay is just one component of our overall Total Rewards offering.
