Shape the future of police records as Nanaimo's Police Records Supervisor. This permanent full-time position is pivotal for quality and compliance in record management.
The City of Nanaimo invites applications for a dedicated individual to supervise the Records Unit. You will manage support staff, oversee the performance of clerical roles, and ensure adherence to quality standards and data maintenance. Essential qualifications include a solid background in RCMP records systems with considerable supervisory experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct supervision of Records Unit personnel
• Review and assess workflow efficiency and compliance
• Implement quality assurance measures in records management
• Work with PRIME Coordinator to optimize operations
• Recommend policy changes for improved record handling
Requirements:
• Grade 12 completion or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in an RCMP context
• 1 year minimum in a supervisory position
• Capability to achieve Enhanced Reliability Status
• Comprehensive background checks mandatory
