Childcare Worker

- Successful completion of a course or a combination of courses of at least 20 hours duration which include child development, guidance, health and safety or nutrition or
- Valid First Aid Certificate with CPR-C
- Class 4, 2 or 1 Driver’s license or willingness to obtain
- Successful completion of Agency screening process, including criminal record check
- Other qualifications or paperwork will also be requested upon hiring
Responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of a classroom while working with children includes age-appropriate activities for program participants that include all elements of In Space Childcare Inc. Core Policies. Ensure the program standards, guidelines, and policies of In Space Childcare Inc. are upheld and all Community Care Licensing requirements outlined by Island Heath are being met. Working with the Starlight billing dept.
to ensure appropriate paperwork is received and fees are collected for the program.
