Job Description
As a Project Coordinator working on our Duke Point project within Pomerleau Construction’s Civil & Infrastructure team, you will manage multiple activities and deadlines to develop a clear and comprehensive understanding of client, team and project requirements. Working on large-scale civil and marine infrastructure projects — ranging in value from $1.5 million to over $1 billion — you will play a key role in the effective coordination of stakeholder communications, ensuring the availability of resources, and overseeing a variety of administrative and project support tasks.
Whatyou will do
- Assist the project team with your keen eye for detail in providing project coordination and administrative support.
- Utilize your passion for client services in ensuring open lines of communication with team members, trade partners, consultants and clients.
- Diligently review, interpret and update our construction schedules.
- Successfully maintain, review and follow up on shop drawings, RFIs, material purchase orders, change notice quotes and project completion documents.
- Meticulously review, collect and analyze project quotes, seeking out the best prices in the market.
- Own the collection and completion of company-wide project reports for your assigned projects.
- Be a role model for applying project-specific safety standards, helping to promote Pomerleau’s HS&E programs, applicable OHS acts, regulations and codes with all employees and trade partners on-site.
- 1–3 years of working experience in the construction industry.
- A university degree or technology diploma in engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience.
- A proven track record of project coordination and team collaboration.
- A passion for providing exceptional client service.
