Project Coordinator

Job Description  As a Project Coordinator working on our Duke Point project within Pomerleau Construction’s Civil & Infrastructure team, you will manage multiple activities and deadlines to develop a clear and comprehensive understanding of client, team and project requirements. Working on large-scale civil and marine infrastructure projects — ranging in value from $1.5 million to over $1 billion — you will play a key role in the effective coordination of stakeholder communications, ensuring the availability of resources, and overseeing a variety of administrative and project support tasks.
What you will do   Assist the project team with your keen eye for detail in providing project coordination and administrative support.
Utilize your passion for client services in ensuring open lines of communication with team members, trade partners, consultants and clients.
Diligently review, interpret and update our construction schedules.
Successfully maintain, review and follow up on shop drawings, RFIs, material purchase orders, change notice quotes and project completion documents.
Meticulously review, collect and analyze project quotes, seeking out the best prices in the market.
Own the collection and completion of company-wide project reports for your assigned projects.
Be a role model for applying project-specific safety standards, helping to promote Pomerleau’s HS&E programs, applicable OHS acts, regulations and codes with all employees and trade partners on-site.
This role could be for you if you have   1–3 years of working experience in the construction industry.
A university degree or technology diploma in engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience.
A proven track record of project coordination and team collaboration.
A passion for providing exceptional client service.
