In this vital role, you will be responsible for the development and ongoing improvement of the Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) program. Leading a dedicated team of Construction Safety Officers, your expertise will guide safety efforts across multiple civil construction sites. Emphasizing compliance with WorkSafeBC and safety best practices will be your primary focus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the OH&S program development and maintenance

• Lead a team of Construction Safety Officers to enforce safety

• Conduct audits, inspections, and safety training

• Coordinate incident investigations and corrective actions

• Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety solutions

Requirements:

• At least 5 years in safety management for civil construction

• NCSO designation or similar is mandatory

• In-depth knowledge of WorkSafeBC safety regulations

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License necessary

• Flexibility to travel to remote sites when required
