Position: HSE Compliance Coordinator at Bird Construction
Drive compliance and safety with Bird Construction as an HSE Compliance Coordinator based in Victoria, BC. Ensure health and safety regulations are met while promoting a culture of safety on-site.

As an HSE Compliance Coordinator, you will work closely with site management to implement strategies that align with Bird Construction's health and safety objectives.

Your role will emphasize hazard documentation, training facilitation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will play a vital role in promoting a safe work environment across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in new project planning for safety practices

• Review daily hazard assessments for accuracy

• Ensure effective communication of safety policies

• Inspect safety equipment and PPE regularly

• Document and report safety incidents accordingly

Requirements:

• OH&S certificate or diploma from a recognized program

• Minimum 3 years HSE experience in construction

• Valid First Aid certification

• Strong organizational and analytical skills

• Ability to foster positive relationships among teams
