Amrize is seeking a skilled Civil/Pave Estimator to contribute to construction excellence on Vancouver Island. Utilize your estimating expertise to secure pivotal projects in the civil and paving sectors.

This role requires an expert professional who will play a central role in the Civil, Pave, and Concrete Construction divisions. You will be responsible for preparing and submitting competitive estimates for commercial, industrial, and municipal projects. Collaborate with various teams to ensure accuracy in quantity take-offs and vendor comparisons, all while communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare precise cost estimates using effective construction practices

• Conduct quantity take-offs and manage vendor relationships

• Ensure timely bid submissions aligned with market trends

• Oversee project documentation and contract administration

• Monitor costs across civil and general contracting projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma required

• Minimum 2-5 years estimating experience

• Strong skills in estimating software like Bid2
