We’re looking for a tech-savvy, detail-driven CAD Tech Surveyor to join our growing team on Vancouver Island. This role balances office and fieldwork and plays a key part in high-impact infrastructure projects.

• Use GPS-grade control systems and advanced survey tools to gather accurate site data.
• Handle volume calculations, CAD drawings, drone operations, and prepare linework and surface files.
• Support field teams by monitoring site grades, checking accuracy, and maintaining quality standards.
• Occasionally work in the field during quieter periods to keep projects moving.

• Degree or certificate in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong skills in CAD software and related technologies.
• Bonus:
  Experience with drones and field surveying.
• Proficiency with GPS-grade tools, laser levels, and accuracy-focused workflows.
• Detail-oriented mindset and a team-first attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Compensation: $35 to $41 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
• Vacation pay: 13% of hourly wage
• Benefits eligibility after completing 250 hours
• Pension contributions: $5.15 per hour worked
