Become a vital part of Hazelwood Construction's team as a CAD Tech Surveyor on Vancouver Island. This role combines office tasks with essential fieldwork utilizing cutting-edge technologies.
Hazelwood is looking for a detail-driven individual with a background in Surveying or Geomatics. The ideal CAD Tech Surveyor should excel in CAD software and possess skills in GPS-grade tools. Responsibilities include gathering site data, executing volume calculations, and ensuring the accuracy of field operations to meet high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather accurate site data using advanced survey tools
• Prepare linework and CAD drawings as needed
• Monitor site grades and perform quality checks
• Occasionally assist field teams during quieter times
• Manage volume calculations and drone operations
Requirements:
• Degree or certificate in Surveying or related field
• Strong CAD software experience
• GPS and drone familiarity beneficial
• Detail-oriented with great communication abilities
• Team-oriented approach in fieldwork
