Join the Island Health Division as a full-time General Respirologist at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital, where you'll deliver vital respirology services in a collaborative environment.
This role involves working alongside two other respirologists, providing clinics, PFT interpretation, bronchoscopy, and hospital consults. You will need Royal College Certification in Respirology and ensure eligibility for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC. Additionally, the position offers an academic affiliation with the University of British Columbia (UBC).
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide shared respirology services in clinics
• Conduct PFT interpretations and bronchoscopy procedures
• Perform hospital consultations for patients
• Collaborate with family practice residents at the hospital
• Maintain adherence to licensing and certification requirements
Requirements:
• Royal College Certification in Respirology
