Position: NLPS Secondary Inclusion Support Coordinator Role

In this role, you will provide critical support to district teams and school staff, focusing on implementing inclusive education strategies. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in differentiating instruction for various learning needs

• Guide the development of Individual Education Plans

• Mentor teachers in sensory management and life skills

• Arrange in-service training on inclusion practices

• Support students' transitions between educational stages

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Special Education or equivalent training

• BC Teacher Certification

• Experience in secondary classroom teaching preferred

• Knowledge of trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices

• Commitment to Indigenous perspectives in education
