As part of the Department of Geography, you will teach courses like GEOG 100, GEOG 101, and GEOG 328 face-to-face at specified times in Fall 2026.
Your role will also include participation in departmental activities and committee meetings, fostering a holistic educational environment. Candidates committed to innovative teaching and student engagement are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver engaging lectures for various Geography courses
• Evaluate and assess student performance regularly
• Provide support and mentorship during office hours
• Participate in committee meetings and departmental initiatives
• Engage in scholarly activities related to Geography
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Geography or related field
• Recent experience teaching undergraduate courses
• Commitment to student learning and success
• Record of scholarly engagement
• Preference for a doctoral degree (or ABD) in relevant disciplines
